Many wonderful years living in the kingdom of Bahrain – my home, a journey filled with growth, opportunities and cherished memories. I am deeply grateful to our King, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the people of Bahrain, for the safe, stable and prosperous environment for residents and expatriates alike.
What you see online does not reflect what life here is like. Yes, the situation here is serious and upsetting. But on the other hand life goes on, shops are open, places of worship are open, cafes are full in the evenings, gyms are busy.
People are trying to go about their day.
Kudos to the military who are working round the clock to keep us safe, intercepting the hundreds of missiles and drones over the past few days. In all my years in Bahrain I have never seen anything like this. We know peace, calm and harmony.
Grateful to be here, respectful of the reality. Confident of the leadership and people protecting us. Bahrain remains one of the most organised and secure places even in challenging times like these.
