I am disappointed to learn that families wishing to relocate from current trouble spots, eg Juffair, are having problems finding temporary accommodation elsewhere in Bahrain. This despite the fact that many compounds, including mine, have several vacancies. Even Airbnb are applying the usual daily rates, making them unaffordable for a month.
It would seem the problem is due to short/long-term licensing regulations. Surely the government can opt to relax these (as they have with visit visas, for example) under these rather extreme, and highly unusual circumstances?
Trying to help a South African family in Juffair who are looking for a three-bed villa for temporary rental.
