BAHRAIN has been receiving messages from several world leaders condemning the hostile Iranian aggression against the kingdom.
The leaders have also expressed their countries’ solidarity with measures taken by the kingdom to safeguard its security and stability.
His Majesty King Hamad yesterday received messages from Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari; Dr Markus Söder, Minister-President of the Free State of Bavaria in the Federal Republic of Germany; and Bermuda’s Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Edward David Burt voicing support for Bahrain.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, also received a letter from Premier Burt condemning Iranian attacks and affirming Bermuda’s solidarity with the kingdom. Premier Burt also expressed his wishes for Bahrain’s continued progress and prosperity.
Many global leaders, including British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, have voiced support for Bahrain and the GCC countries.
