Gulf Air Group Holding has announced the appointment of a new board of directors for the group and its key portfolio companies, including national carrier Gulf Air and Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), the manager and operator of Bahrain International Airport.
The new board will be chaired by Khalid Hussain Taqi and comprises the following members: Shaikh Fahad bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Sara Ahmed Buhiji, Faisal Ali Al Jalahma, Alaa Abdulkhaleq Saeed, Sael Al Waary and Julia Simpson.
The appointments underscore Gulf Air Group’s commitment to driving sustainable growth across its portfolio through active asset management and strong corporate governance, reinforcing the aviation industry’s pivotal role in advancing Bahrain’s economic goals.
Gulf Air Group extended appreciation to the outgoing board members, recognising their dedicated efforts and significant contributions during their tenure.
Gulf Air Group is a subsidiary of Bahrain’s sovereign wealth fund, Mumtalakat, and serves as the holding entity for the fund’s aviation assets.
