The High Criminal Court yesterday sentenced a man to five years in prison for committing ‘acts of violence and vandalism’ during the Iranian hostilities in March.
The defendant was reportedly arrested in the act by authorities, and was referred to the Public Prosecution, which carried out an investigation into the matter.
Witnesses were interviewed, the defendant was questioned, and the case went to trial.
The Public Prosecution warned that it will ‘take legal measures’ against all who harm national security.
