An immediate and total ban on the use of drones across Bahrain has been announced by the Interior Ministry, effective from today until further notice, citing security considerations linked to recent regional developments.
In a statement issued today, the ministry said the decision comes as part of its security and legal responsibilities to safeguard national safety and strengthen civil protection measures.
The ban applies to all uses of drones, regardless of purpose.
The ministry said the measure is being implemented “in light of dealing with the repercussions of the criminal Iranian aggression against the Kingdom of Bahrain.”
Authorities warned that any drone found operating in violation of the ban will be intercepted and destroyed, and legal action will be taken against those responsible.
The Interior Ministry stressed that the decision takes effect immediately and will remain in force until officially lifted.
