HANDBALL – AL Shabab defeated Samaheej 33-25 last night to wrap up gameweek 18 in the 2025-26 Khalid Bin Hamad Bahrain Handball League.
Shabab held an 18-13 advantage at the break and didn’t let up over the remaining 30 minutes of play, held at the Bahrain Handball Federation Arena in Um Al Hassam Sports Complex.
With the result, Shabab improved to 46 points following their 14th win in 17 tries – just a point behind table-toppers and defending champions Al Najma, who have a game in hand.
Samaheej suffered their 14th defeat in 16 games and remained second-from-bottom with 20 points.
