MMA – BRAVE Combat Federation (BRAVE CF), the world’s fastest-growing and most international mixed martial arts (MMA) organisation, in partnership with World Freefight Challenge (WFC), announced a colossal heavyweight world championship showdown as reigning title-holder Pavel ‘The Experiment’ Dailidko puts his gold on the line against hometown favourite Miha Frlic on June 6 at Hala Tivoli in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
“I have worked relentlessly to reach this level, and I am far from done,” said Dailidko. “Miha is a dangerous and deserving challenger, but I thrive under pressure.
“On June 6, I will reinforce my reign and remind the world why I am the most feared heavyweight in BRAVE CF.”
Number one-ranked heavyweight contender Frlic stated: “This is the moment I have been working toward my entire career. To compete for the world title in front of my people is an incredible honour.
“Pavel is one of the best in the division, but I am ready to prove that I belong at the top and bring the belt home to Slovenia.”
Widely regarded as one of the most outstanding heavyweights in the sport today, Dailidko enters the bout with an imposing 11-2 professional record, with every victory coming by knockout.
Since joining BRAVE CF in 2022, the Lithuanian juggernaut has carved a path of destruction, winning six of his last seven appearances inside the cage.
His crowning achievement came at BRAVE CF 88 in September of 2024, when he dismantled Patryk Dubiela in the opening round to become the inaugural BRAVE CF heavyweight world champion.
The 34-year-old has since cemented his dominance with two successful world title defences, including a statement performance at BRAVE CF 99 in Vilnius, Lithuania, where he finished Gregory ‘Robson’ Robinet in under a round in front of a passionate home crowd.
Standing across from him will be Frlic, an undefeated powerhouse boasting a 7-0-1 record, including a flawless 4-0 run under the BRAVE CF banner.
Known for his explosive finishing ability and relentless pace, Frlic has surged through the ranks to claim the top contender spot.
The Slovenian behemoth emphatically booked a world title opportunity at BRAVE CF 104 last February, delivering a first-round demolition of Samuele Di Guardo that left no doubt about his credentials.
With elite knockout power colliding against unbeaten momentum, this BRAVE CF heavyweight world title clash promises an explosive spectacle as the Bahrain-based combat sports promotion makes its highly anticipated return to Ljubljana. More details about the event will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
