ASIAN BEACH GAMES – BAHRAIN Olympic Committee secretary general and Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) media committee chair Faris Al Kooheji attended yesterday the official inauguration of the main media centre (MMC) at the sixth Asian Beach Games in Sanya, China.
Al Kooheji was on hand alongside a number of other OCA officials.
The MMC was designed to support media professionals from across the continent, and it serves as the central nervous system for the Games, combining a main Press centre, an international broadcast centre, and a media hotel.
Al Kooheji expressed high praise for the facility, noting its “smooth operations” and suggesting that its efficiency sets a new benchmark for future events, including the upcoming Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya in Japan later this year.
