Prime Minister’s Court Minister and Isa Bin Salman Education Charitable Trust Board of Trustees chairman Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday chaired the board meeting at Riffa Palace.
He highlighted the importance of training and educational initiatives to support citizens and their contributions to the kingdom’s comprehensive development, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Shaikh Isa underscored the trust’s ongoing commitment to providing sustainable, high-quality educational opportunities that enhance the development and global competitiveness of Bahraini talent.
The agenda also reviewed the trust’s financial outcomes for 2024 and statistics on scholarship recipients, reflecting the impact of its programmes. The meeting discussed plans to further develop scholarship programmes in line with national priorities and labour market needs, as well as updates from the Investment, Asset Management and Projects Committee.
Shaikh Isa emphasised the importance of aligning educational outcomes with the needs of key sectors while continuing to deliver high-quality programmes and expand strategic partnerships with public and private sector entities, as well as leading international institutions, to enhance outcomes and maximise national impact.
He further affirmed the trust’s commitment to strengthening its institutional framework by enhancing the efficiency and impact of its initiatives. In this regard, Shaikh Isa highlighted that investing in the kingdom’s youth remains central to national development and to reinforcing Bahraini talent as active contributors to Bahrain’s present and future.
The minister expressed appreciation for the dedication and contributions of the Board of Trustees, commending their expertise and commitment to advancing the trust’s objectives. The achievements realised are the result of collaborative efforts that continue to support the trust’s mission and further its goals across all levels, he noted.
