His Majesty King Hamad sent a reply message to King Mohammed VI of Morocco, in response to a message received regarding Morocco’s support for Bahrain following the Iranian attacks that targeted the kingdom’s sovereignty, security and stability.
His Majesty expressed pride in the strong ties and close relations between the two countries, as well as their constructive co-operation.
The King conveyed appreciation for the sincere solidarity expressed by King Mohammed, commending Morocco’s steadfast condemnation of the Iranian aggression that targeted civilian and military facilities and residential areas, in violation of the United Nations Charter, international law, and the principles of good neighbourliness.
His Majesty also expressed appreciation for the Moroccan King’s affirmation that the security of Bahrain and the GCC states is an integral part of Morocco’s security, and for Morocco’s support for Bahrain in all measures taken to address current threats targeting national principles and social cohesion.
