BOWLING – ROYALS team clinched the tenpin bowling title in the Al Fursan Sports Tournament, which was held by the Bahrain Olympic Committee in co-operation with the Bahrain Bowling Federation (BBF).
Al Fursan supreme organising committee vice-chairman Abbas Bu Hassan and BBF secretary general Issa Taqi crowned the top squad. Royals secured first place with a total of 1,771 pins in the final for an average of 196.78.
Their team featured Youssef Al Ali, Iman Adel, and Abdullah Abdulkarim, who registered the highest individual total of 716 pins.
Triple Threat team finished as runners-up with a 1,712 total and 190.22 average with their players Ana Alvero, Mohammed Al Manaei and Youssef Al Saoud.
The Family team placed third with a 1,694 total and 188.22 average behind the strong play of Ahmed Al Goud, Maryam Al Shaikh, and Abdulaziz Al Sheikh.
