BAHRAIN Bourse (BHB) has appointed Arqaam Capital to expand equity market research coverage and drive institutional investment.
Under the agreement, the Middle East-focused financial services firm will produce comprehensive equity research on seven selected companies listed on the Bahraini exchange, alongside a flagship Bahrain country report.
The partnership aims to enhance market transparency, elevate the global visibility of Bahrain-listed companies, and drive deeper investor engagement.
By delivering independent, institutional-grade insights to regional and international investors, the initiative supports the development of a more dynamic and well-informed investment landscape grounded in global best practices. All research will be distributed via the BHB website, Arqaam Capital’s research platform and major global financial networks.
BHB chief executive officer Shaikh Khalifa bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa said the collaboration marks an important step in advancing the depth and quality of the kingdom’s capital market ecosystem. He noted that partnering with a leading institutional research provider will strengthen market transparency, enhance investor awareness, and elevate the visibility of listed companies among international allocators, directly aligning with the exchange’s strategic growth objectives.
Arqaam Capital CEO Riad Meliti said that Bahrain Bourse’s decision to commission institutional-grade coverage sends a clear signal to global investors that the market is deeply committed to transparency and disciplined disclosure.
He added that Arqaam Capital will deliver rigorous, independent analysis to ensure Bahrain’s listed companies are evaluated effectively on their fundamentals by global capital allocators.
Company reports will be issued on a quarterly basis, featuring detailed financial analysis, valuations, and analyst recommendations. Meanwhile, the flagship country report will provide a high-level assessment of Bahrain’s equity market, key sectors, and macroeconomic outlook.
