His Majesty King Hamad yesterday signed a document of thanks and loyalty, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Shaikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Shaikh Sultan bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The document read as follows:
To the esteemed citizens,
In my name and in the name of my sons, we express our affection and pride in the honourable patriotic stances you have demonstrated. You have our utmost appreciation and regard.
The document also included two verses of poetry written by His Majesty, expressing pride in the people of Bahrain and recognising their contribution to the kingdom’s strength and standing. The verses reflect the unity and solidarity of Bahrainis as one family and recognise their enduring commitment to their nation.
Following that, the sons of His Majesty signed the document.
