Parliament Speaker and Parliamentary Division executive committee chairman Ahmed Al Musallam chaired a co-ordination meeting ahead of the participation of the Bahraini parliamentary division delegation at the 39th Conference of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU), to be held remotely under a theme focused on strengthening Arab parliamentary co-operation to enhance regional stability and promote long-term sustainable development, on June 11.
Mr Al Musallam commended the directives of His Majesty King Hamad and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in supporting and strengthening the path of joint Arab action, and contributing effectively to enhancing consultation and co-ordination between Arab councils and parliaments, in a manner that advances Arab issues, achieves security and stability, and consolidates development efforts in the region, which constitute a key pillar of Arab parliamentary work.
