The oldest private school in Bahrain, Al Raja School, held its graduation ceremony for the Class of 2026 yesterday, marking years of dedication and achievement.
Parents, guests and members of the administrative and teaching staff were welcomed by Al Raja School’s board chairman Shaikh Ahmed bin Salman Al Khalifa, along with board of directors and acting principal Vinolia John.
Shaikha Hala bint Mohammed Al Khalifa was the guest of honour at the ceremony.
Shaikh Ahmed congratulated the students and encouraged them to carry forward the school’s values while contributing meaningfully to the nation.
“As Al Raja School graduates, be proud ambassadors of your school and dedicated servants of Bahrain. Carry our values with integrity, and contribute to your nation’s progress with pride and purpose,” he said.
Ms John called on students to make a positive difference wherever they go.
“Wherever life takes you, lead with integrity, serve with kindness, and leave every place better than you found it,” she said.
Shaikha Hala congratulated the graduates on their accomplishments and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence and innovation.
She urged them to invest in their talents and abilities to help build a brighter future for their nation and community, emphasising the vital role of education and creativity in achieving aspirations and driving positive change.
Valedictorian Wissam Fadi Habib, 17, who will be heading to the University of Strathclyde to study Civil Engineering, also shared advice for future freshmen. “Don’t try to be someone you’re not,” he said.
