His Majesty King Hamad’s Personal Representative and Supreme Council for Environment (SCE) President Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa affirmed that Bahrain continues steadily to consolidate its position in the field of environmental and climate action.
This reflects the vision of His Majesty and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and ensure a more sustainable future for coming generations, he said.
Marking World Environment Day, Shaikh Abdulla emphasised that the occasion represents an opportunity to highlight national efforts and the kingdom’s firm commitment to environmental issues, noting that Bahrain has become a model in balancing economic development requirements with the protection of natural resources.
