Labour and Legal Affairs Minister Youssef Khalaf led Bahrain’s delegation to the 114th session of the International Labour Conference in Geneva.
Addressing the conference, the minister highlighted Bahrain’s efforts to support labour market growth through digital transformation, skills development, innovation, and artificial intelligence (AI) training programmes aimed at enhancing employment opportunities and aligning workforce skills with future labour market needs.
The minister also reiterated Bahrain’s condemnation of the Iranian attacks targeting the kingdom, other GCC states, and Jordan, and stressed the kingdom’s commitment to maintaining stability and advancing economic and social development.
