Education Minister Dr Mohammed Mubarak Juma congratulated students and their parents on the second-semester results for the academic year 2025-2026.
He said that the results of the primary and intermediate stages reflect the tremendous efforts made by students, teachers, and parents throughout the academic year.
The minister extended special congratulations to grade nine students, noting that this year’s pass rate is the highest recorded in recent years, exceeding 97 per cent. In previous years, pass rates ranged between 85pc and 88pc, before rising to around 90pc following re-sit exams.
He said that these outstanding results demonstrate the seriousness and dedication of students, as well as the effective role played by educational and administrative staff and parents in providing an environment conducive to academic achievement and excellence.
The Education Ministry previously announced that primary and intermediate school results would be made available to students and parents starting from yesterday through the EduSIS platform and application, as well as the Educational Portal.
Secondary school results, meanwhile, will be announced next Monday afternoon through the ministry’s approved electronic platforms.
Several top achievers, who received an overall average of 100pc in the General Certificate of Intermediate Education, have affirmed that success largely depends on personal will, hard work, and discipline.
Speaking to our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej, they said that technology was a helping tool throughout their educational journey, while perseverance and hard work remained the most essential factor in achieving excellence.
