As part of the government mobile applications merger plan, the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA) announced the complete migration of all services available on the ‘Islamiyat’ app to the unified ‘MyGov’ app.
Deputy chief executive officer for eTransformation at the iGA Ali Janahi said the initiative is in line with the continuous follow-up of the Ministerial Committee for Information and Communication Technology, chaired by Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa and in co-ordination with government entities to execute the government mobile applications merger plan.
Mr Janahi highlighted that the plan aims to merging existing government apps into three main platforms: ‘MyGov’ for individuals, ‘AlTajir’ for businesses and investors, and ‘Bahrain’ app for visitors.
