A family in the Indian state of Kerala had a miraculous escape after a speeding truck rammed into their parked car on the MC Road in Kilimanoor, Trivandrum, on Sunday.

CCTV footage of the incident shows a mother carrying her child and stepping out of the vehicle mere seconds before the truck collides with it and drags the car away.
The father, who was still inside the vehicle behind the wheel, also survived the impact without any major injuries.
Following the accident, local police registered a case against the truck driver.
