NATIONAL Security Adviser and Royal Guard Commander Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa met US Senator Jacky Rosen during his visit to Washington, DC, in the presence of Shaikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Shaikh Mohammed bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the accompanying delegation.
The meeting discussed topics and issues of mutual interest, in addition to means to enhance bilateral co-operation in a manner that serves mutual interests and supports efforts to consolidate regional and international security and peace.
Meanwhile, Lt Gen Shaikh Nasser received Brian Mast, Chairman of the US House of Representatives Committee on Foreign Affairs, and underscored that the relations between Bahrain and the US are undergoing continuous development, built on solid foundations of co-operation across various domains, reflecting the strength of the strategic partnership between the two countries and serving their shared interests.
Lt Gen Shaikh Nasser noted the importance of continuing to advance bilateral relations, for the benefit of both countries.
He also held meetings with senators Lindsey Graham and Brian Schatz.
