As summer arrives in Bahrain, so does the struggle of dressing for the office.
It may sound like a minor problem, but it can be genuinely frustrating.
Step outside and the heat and humidity are intense, yet once you get into the office, the air conditioning is often freezing.
For me, it usually means suffering through the drive to and from work because I’d rather dress warmer for the office than spend eight hours sitting there cold and uncomfortable.
Being chilly all day makes it harder to focus and stay productive.
I often wish there were guidelines for office temperatures – something balanced, so employees aren’t left feeling too hot or too cold while trying to work.
