Iran condemned for targeting Bahrain’s territory
INSTAGRAM
We condemn in the strongest terms the blatant Iranian attacks targeting the security, stability and sovereignty of Bahrain.
These hostile acts constitute a clear violation of international law, threaten regional peace and endanger the lives of citizens and residents of Bahrain.
Bahrain has always been and remains a beacon of tolerance, security and progress in the region. Any aggression against it is an aggression against all who believe in peace and stability.
We categorically reject these attacks and demand an immediate end to all hostile activities and interference in Bahrain’s internal affairs.
We reaffirm our absolute loyalty and complete allegiance to His Majesty King Hamad and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Under their wise leadership, Bahrain will remain steadfast, united and as one in defending its land, its people and its national interests.
May God protect the Kingdom of Bahrain, its leadership and its loyal people.

Animal rescuers speak about financial and emotional toll
I would like to suggest we find a way to kindly reduce the cost of animal food and also veterinary treatment. It is too costly and people cannot afford the outlay so they dump the animals outside to die.
@aqilafazal
Very thankful for our wonderful volunteers. For those of us who are unable to help physically, we can at least help financially.

Please save them all, it’s their planet too.

Something has to be done! People can’t keep dumping their pets and not be held accountable.
@wandafineza
There are a few of us feeding strays and TNR, but with no support from the government, it’s a heavy load on people. If they can force vets to at least neuter 10 stray cats a month it will help a lot.

So many unsung heroes in this article but at least it shines a light on the few. The struggle for rescuers is often financial but always psychological. People don’t understand – whilst they often don’t contribute in any way – why you can’t take in or help ‘just one more’.
