Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly stepping into scripted television with a drama centred on a fictional football agent in the UK game.
According to The Sun, the Portuguese superstar is set to both star in and executive-produce the project under UR Marv Studios, a production company he formed with British director Matthew Vaughn.
The series, titled Day 1s, will feature Homeland actor Damian Lewis as Stanley Dalton, a high-powered fictional football agent. Former Arsenal and France striker Thierry Henry and British rapper Dave are also expected to appear.
Filming is underway in London, with Barnet FC’s ground reportedly among the locations being used.
