The remarkable success of this year’s Ashoora season stands as a testament to His Majesty’s gracious patronage. Under his visionary leadership, the kingdom has emerged as a global beacon of religious tolerance and exemplary human coexistence, setting a benchmark for harmony among diverse communities.
We also commend the tireless efforts of the government of Bahrain under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. His prudent directives and forward-looking vision ensured that all logistical and organisational requirements were efficiently addressed, allowing the Ashoora season to proceed seamlessly and conclude with outstanding success.
Our sincere appreciation is also extended to the Interior Ministry, led by minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa. We highly commend the pivotal role played by Bahrain’s security personnel in maintaining public order and safeguarding Ashoora processions. Their professionalism and dedication reflected the kingdom’s distinguished civil and institutional standards.
Special recognition is also extended to Capital Governor Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa and Muharraq Governor Salman bin Hindi for their continuous field supervision and close engagement with local communities. Their efforts contributed significantly to the successful organisation of this year’s Ashoora season and exemplified the strong partnership between public officials and citizens in promoting national security and stability.
We further commend the Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Ministry for its effective supervisory and organisational role in facilitating the observance of Ashoora rituals. Through close co-ordination with all relevant authorities, the ministry contributed significantly to ensuring that this year’s season was conducted in an orderly, dignified and exemplary manner.
I extend my deepest appreciation and respect to the organisers, volunteers and all those who contributed to the success of the Ashoora season.
