An expat worker drowned in the Durrat Al Bahrain area, the Coastguard announced yesterday.
Competent authorities rushed to the scene and initiated necessary legal and safety procedures.
Sources told the GDN that the 52-year-old Indian man was cleaning the lake, when he slipped and fell.
