BEACH VOLLEYBALL – Delmon were crowned champions of the first national beach volleyball tournament of the 2026 season, organised and run by the Bahrain Volleyball Association (BVA).
Delmon secured their crown after defeating Al Dar in straight sets in the title-decider, played at the BVA’s beach volleyball courts at Isa Sports City in Riffa.
Joining the two finalists on the podium were Al Alwani, who secured the bronze medals after defeating Hammadi, also in two sets, in the game for third place.
Following the competition’s conclusion, Delmon were awarded their gold medals by BVA board member Rashed Jaber, in the presence of BVA president Shaikh Ali bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, BVA board member Sadeq Alzaimour, and other officials.
Al Dar and Al Alwani were also presented with their accolades.
The tournament was held as part of the BVA’s keenness to ensure the continuity of beach volleyball activities in the kingdom and to select national team players for upcoming events.
