A Saudi man convicted of killing his wife by setting her on fire was executed on Tuesday.
The Saudi Interior Ministry announced the execution, providing details of the crime.
According to a ministry statement, the man lured his wife into a vehicle and drove her to a remote desert area. He then poured gasoline on her and set her on fire, causing her death.
He was subsequently arrested, charged and sentenced to death.
