THE Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) participated in the Chefs de Mission Seminar for the sixth Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and organised by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA). BOC Arab and international relations head Maryam Mardana attended on behalf of the BOC. The meeting reviewed the sports that will be included in the event, the procedures for accrediting and registering participants, visa issuance, arrival and departure procedures, the overall programme, and the athletes’ village. The sixth Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games is scheduled for December 13 to 21, with 45 nations expected to take part. Also in attendance during the seminar were the Games’ CEO Moneerah Alsudairy, OCA deputy director general Vinod Kumar Tiwari, and several other officials from the OCA, Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, and representatives from National Olympic Committees from across Asia.
