Labour and Legal Affairs Minister Yusuf Khalaf chaired the first meeting of the committee organising the 41st Outstanding Workers Honour Ceremony.
The ceremony, organised by the Labour Ministry under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad, is scheduled to be held in December.
The meeting reviewed the initial preparations for the ceremony, during which outstanding workers nominated by their employers from various workplaces and production sectors across the kingdom will be honoured.
Several labour pioneers and establishments recognised for employing Bahraini nationals will also be honoured.
The minister said that the patronage of the King reflects the great importance attached by him and the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to national talent in the private sector and to promoting a culture of excellence and innovation across workplaces.
He commended the competence and professionalism demonstrated by Bahraini workers and their effective contributions to supporting the kingdom’s comprehensive development.
