Dr Ayman Tariq Saeed, a consultant in plastic and reconstructive surgery, has been elected as the official representative of the kingdom to the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), following an election by the society’s members in Bahrain.
ISAPS is among the world’s most prestigious organisations dedicated to aesthetic plastic surgery, with more than 6,500 members from 117 countries.
In his new role, Dr Saeed will serve as the kingdom’s liaison with ISAPS, promoting collaboration in education, professional training and patient safety, while strengthening Bahrain’s presence within the international plastic surgery community.
Commenting on his election, Dr Saeed said: “It is a great honour to represent Bahrain within the international plastic surgery community. I extend my sincere gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their continued support for education and the development of Bahrain’s healthcare sector.”
