National Security Adviser and Royal Guard Commander Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa received Lieutenant General Kevin Leahy, Commanding General of the United States Army Central and Third Army.
The meeting was attended by Deputy National Security Adviser Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Jaber Al Khalifa. Lt Gen Shaikh Nasser affirmed that the longstanding ties and close strategic partnership between Bahrain and the US continue to achieve progress across various domains.
Latest regional and international developments were reviewed, in addition to the current security situation in the region.
They also discussed issues of mutual interest and means to enhance co-ordination and consultation on various challenges to support regional and international security and stability.
