A first-of-its-kind trading cards and collectibles event in Bahrain is set to get underway today at the InterContinental Bahrain by IHG in Manama, bringing together collectors, enthusiasts and vendors from across the region.
The Bahrain Card Show will run from 4pm to 10pm today and continue tomorrow, featuring Trading Card Game (TCG) tournaments, prize giveaways and a range of interactive activities.
Visitors will have the chance to buy, sell and trade rare cards with regional vendors, while special coins earned through purchases can be redeemed for exclusive collectibles and other prizes.
“For the first time in Bahrain, all TCG collectors will gather in one place,” the event organisers said in a statement.
“Whether you are a collector, player, or just looking to join the world of trading cards, this place is for you.
“There will be selling, buying, and trading with collectors, TCG tournaments, competitions for participants, hourly raffles and prizes, and goodies for those who attend.
“As hobbyists ourselves, we have always dreamed of having this type of show in Bahrain.
“There was no card show, no community event and no collectors show in Bahrain for people to gather and do what they love. So we decided to take matters into our own hands, not just as organisers, but as hobbyists who genuinely care about seeing the community grow in Bahrain.”
Collectors have the opportunity to get some rare cards
TCG tournaments will take place on both days, featuring Pokémon, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Digimon, and Riftbound, all of which have made a significant impact on the region’s card collecting culture.
The Riftbound and Pokémon TCG tournaments will be held today, while the One Piece and Digimon TCG tournaments are scheduled for tomorrow.
Both tournaments begin at 5pm and participants are encouraged to arrive early to secure their place.
Players are recommended to contact the organisers to get more information on the Yu-Gi-Oh! tournament.
Upon arrival, attendees will receive a wristband, which should be worn throughout the day, or both days, depending on the type of ticket purchased.
Each wristband carries a unique number, making holders eligible for hourly prize giveaways throughout the event.
With every purchase made, customers will receive a special coin that can be used at the ‘Game Station’, where they will have the chance to win valuable prizes.
According to the latest update, all vendor tables have sold out, with a wide range of merchandise and collectibles expected to be on display.

A Basic Pass costs BD4 and provides one-day entry, while a Premium Pass costs BD6 and grants access on both days. General admission begins at 4pm.
A VIP pass, priced at BD12, includes entry on both days, a goodie bag, and early access to the venue from 2pm.
