Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) and Sepang International Circuit (SIC) today announced the launch of ticket sales for the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia 2026.
Tickets for grandstands and general admission areas are now on sale for this unique event taking place at SIC from October 2 to 4, as the spirit of Bahrain comes to Malaysia.
BIC chief executive Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa said: "The launch of ticket sales is a major milestone, as we prepare for this historic race weekend in Sepang. The feedback from fans and those involved in the sport since we announced the Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia has been incredible. Fans now have their opportunity to ensure they are part of this unique piece of F1 history."
Tickets for all international fans (non-Malaysian citizens) are available via the BIC website, Bahraingp.com. General admission tickets start from USD 219 per person for three days, whilst grandstand seats start at USD 350 and the iconic Main Grandstand is priced at USD 566 for three days. All prices are inclusive of tax.
SIC chief executive Azhan Shafriman Hanif said: "Today's launch marks another important milestone as preparations continue for Formula 1's return to Sepang for the first time since 2017. We know how much Malaysian fans have missed experiencing Formula 1 at our home circuit, and together with BIC and Formula 1, we are excited to welcome fans from Malaysia, the region and around the world for what will be a spectacular Formula 1 weekend at Sepang."
Holders of MyKad (identity card for Malaysian citizens) will be able to access special rates for three-day tickets which are also available at Bahraingp.com. General admission tickets for MyKad holders start at MYR 200, whilst grandstand seats start at MYR 1,291.4. These special rates are only available to MyKad holders and a verification process is in place to ensure validity of tickets.
Children aged between 3 and 6 are entitled to a 25 per cent discount and children under 3 are free. Accessible seating is also available for spectators with additional needs. Customers should call +973 1745 0000 to make a reservation for accessible seating.
Fans are urged to make reservations as soon as possible to secure the best seats as tickets for the race weekend are expected to be in high demand.
