The Kuwaiti Court of Appeals has sentenced a Kuwaiti national to one year in prison and imposed a fine of KD 10,000 (BD 12,125) after he insulted Allah and the Quran during a TikTok livestream.
The case was filed by the Cybercrime Department following the online broadcast.
Legal authorities charged the individual with committing acts that violate public decency.
