An Omani paraglider and his sister have died after falling during a paragliding flight in Dhofar.
Emergency services were dispatched immediately to the scene following the incident.
An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the equipment failure.
Following the tragedy, the Oman Air Sports Committee confirmed that all powered paragliding activities are suspended across the country until further notice.
