A man has been remanded in custody and is set to face a criminal trial on charges of allegedly insulting Islamic symbols in social media posts intended to incite sectarian strife, the Public Prosecution said on X.
During investigations, the suspect admitted to publishing the posts on a channel he created a year ago, dedicated to Islamic jurisprudence and doctrine, which has around 950 followers.
