An emergency medicine resident in India has earned praise online after a video of her stepping away from her wedding reception to treat two catering workers went viral.
Dr Shirin Subair, from Kannur in Kerala, was celebrating her marriage when two female catering staff fell ill - one suffered a severe nosebleed, while the other complained of dizziness.
Still in her bridal attire, Dr Subair immediately stepped in to provide emergency first aid.
Footage of Dr Shirin attending to the two workers circulated widely on social media, earning her widespread praise online.
