Interior Minister and ministerial follow-up committee for the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Citizenship, Bahrainouna chairman General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa visited the Gadeha Junior camp to review its training and educational programmes and activities, as well as its integrated experience aimed at developing the capabilities of young participants.
The minister thanked National Security Adviser, Royal Guard Commander and Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his directives to organise the camp and launch its specialised programmes and activities.
He also expressed his appreciation for the follow-up of Royal Guard Special Operations Commander Brigadier Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Gen Shaikh Rashid was briefed on the camp’s concept and objectives, training and supervision mechanisms, the progress of its programmes and activities, and the educational and training environment provided to achieve its objectives.
He also attended parts of various training sessions and programmes for young participants, combining physical training, personal skills development and the promotion of commitment, discipline, self-reliance and national belonging.
The minister commended the broad participation and strong engagement of the young participants, highlighting the high standard of the Gadeha Junior camp.
