Ithmaar Bank has wrapped up the latest edition of its ‘Ithmaar Guide’ internship programme, welcoming nine school students for an immersive workplace experience.
Designed to prepare young talents for their next stage of education, the initiative introduces participants to key banking functions and departments to help them choose their future academic specialisations. Trainees engaged in day-to-day operations while shadowing experienced staff across the organisation.
“At Ithmaar Bank, we believe in investing in future generations,” said the bank’s human resources department manager Murad Mohamed Ali. “Through Ithmaar Guide, we offer early workplace exposure that helps students discover their interests, build confidence, and select an academic path based on practical experience.”
He added that the bank remains committed to nurturing Bahraini youth by equipping them with essential professional skills such as discipline, responsibility, and teamwork.
