MOTORSPORT – Italian Ambassador to Bahrain Andrea Catalano received yesterday Bahrain’s young karting sensation Tariq Soofi and his family members, the Italian Embassy shared in a post on social media.
The reception took place at the embassy premises, and it was held in celebration of Tariq’s outstanding performance in the first round of the WSK Final Cup 2026, held at Franciacorta Karting Track in Italy.
Tariq presented Ambassador Catalano with a shirt of his Italian team Lenovo Kalì Kart in a token of gratitude that reflects friendship and a shared passion for sport, the embassy said.
The embassy added that Tariq has earned the admiration of the Italian Embassy’s team in Manama, who are cheering him on and sending warm congratulations along with powerful best wishes for his races ahead.
