Bahrain Ambassador to the United States Dr Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al Khalifa highlighted the depth of strategic relations that unite Bahrain and the US. He also stressed the need for strengthening the ties in light of current regional and international developments.
Participating in a roundtable discussion organised by the Gulf States Institute in Washington, the ambassador affirmed the depth and strength of the strategic relations that unite Bahrain and the US.
He also shed light on the continuous progress and growth in various areas of co-operation, based on a solid partnership between the two nations. To achieve common aspirations of the two countries, bilateral co-operation should cover broader areas, he said.
He pointed to the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement, noting its growing importance as a strategic framework reflecting the deep-rooted partnership between Bahrain and US. He also acknowledged the role played by US, along other nations, in supporting efforts to consolidate security and stability in the region and the world.
