China Garden at the Gulf Hotel Bahrain, one of the kingdom’s most popular dining out destinations, has undergone a full renovation and reopened with a dazzling culinary display at a VIP dinner.
Held under the patronage of Industry and Commerce Minister Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, the ceremony marked three decades of celebrating Chinese cuisine at the Gulf Hotels Group (GHG) restaurant.
China Garden first opened at the hotel in 1996 and the reopening dinner was attended by the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom of Bahrain, business officials, senior editors and representatives of Bahrain’s media, and GHG’s Chairman, Vice Chairman and board of directors.
Ahmed Janahi, Group CEO of Gulf Hotels Group, said: “China Garden has been part of Bahrain’s dining scene for 30 years and this renovation is about ensuring it continues to meet the expectations of our guests without losing the authenticity that built its reputation.”
