The eighth edition of the Bahrain International Airshow, initially scheduled for November 18-20 this year, will now take place from November 15 to 17, 2028.
The new dates are intended to enable greater international participation by visitors, exhibitors, delegations and industry partners, and allow them to take full advantage of the opportunities offered by the airshow, which is renowned for its strong international standing.
The Supreme Organising Committee, in a statement yesterday, expressed its expectation of staging the eighth edition in November 2028, with the new dates creating the appropriate conditions to attract broad international participation and strengthen the presence of the aviation community in the kingdom.
“Preparations for the eighth edition are continuing in close co-ordination with stakeholders, partners and the international aerospace community, further enhancing the airshow’s role in building partnerships, supporting business and international trade opportunities, and cementing Bahrain’s position as a prominent destination for specialised international events,” the committee said.
The Bahrain International Airshow was launched in 2010 and has since become an established fixture in the global aviation and aerospace events calendar, attracting leading aviation and aerospace companies, senior government officials, military and civilian delegations, and industry specialists from around the world.
