The world today is changing faster than ever before because of digital technology. From smartphones and artificial intelligence to online education and social media, technology has become an important part of our daily lives.
It has made communication easier, increased access to knowledge, and created new opportunities for learning and creativity.
However, this digital evolution also makes us think about the importance of human literacy. Literacy is not only about reading and writing, but also about thinking critically, understanding emotions, solving problems, and making responsible decisions.
Technology can provide information within seconds, but it is humans who must decide whether that information is correct, useful or harmful.
As a student, I believe technology is a powerful tool, but it should support human abilities rather than replace them. Artificial intelligence can help us learn, but it cannot replace curiosity, imagination, kindness and independent thinking.
A student who only depends on digital tools may gain information but may lose the habit of exploring ideas deeply.
At the same time, we cannot ignore the benefits of technology. Digital skills are becoming necessary for future careers, education and communication. The real challenge is finding a balance between using technology and developing our own human skills.
The future will not be a battle between humans and machines. Instead, it should be a co-operation where technology helps humans achieve greater things. Digital evolution gives us powerful tools, but human literacy gives us the wisdom to use them properly.
In the end, the smartest society will not be the one with only advanced technology, but the one with educated, thoughtful and responsible people.
