MMA – Bahrain’s mixed martial arts (MMA) superstar Hamza Al Kooheji headlines a list of seven fighters from the kingdom who have benefitted over the past decade from the professional pathway provided by BRAVE Combat Federation (BRAVE CF).
From launching their pro careers to securing victories on the global stage and representing the kingdom internationally, BRAVE CF’s first decade saw seven national MMA fighters compete at the highest level in the organisation, with all seven recording at least one victory and a combined total of 25 wins.
Joining Kooheji with this distinction are Hussain Ayyad, Abdulla Al Yaqoob, Mohammed Al Sameea, Khalifa Janahi, Abdulrahman Ali Janahi, and Ali Hassan Marhoon.
Bahraini MMA fighters have competed in BRAVE CF events across eight countries, including Bahrain, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the Philippines, Britain, China, Bulgaria, and Indonesia.
They have represented the kingdom at the organisation’s events across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
Kooheji leads the Bahraini fighters with nine BRAVE CF victories, placing him second on the organisation’s all-time wins list.
He has also challenged for the BRAVE CF world title twice.
BRAVE CF, a Bahrain-based global professional MMA organisation, was established and launched from the kingdom on September 23, 2016.
The figures highlight its role and efforts as a key platform for developing Bahraini professional MMA talent.
