Call for shaded areas outside schools hits roadblock
In intense hot weather children should get at least shaded area for waiting.
@khanbh19
Parents are waiting outside schools under the scorching sun, without shaded areas or proper waiting facilities to protect them from the extreme heat. Students are also left waiting for their parents in these harsh conditions. This is not an issue affecting just one school; there have been complaints about several schools.
If the ministry believes that waiting areas must be located inside school premises and supervised by school administrations, then why are suitable facilities not being provided in all schools that need them? What is needed is practical solutions that protect our children and their parents from the heat.
There are also complaints about malfunctioning or inadequate air-conditioning systems in some schools. Students spend many hours inside classrooms in extremely hot conditions. This is not a minor issue; it directly affects students’ comfort, well-being, concentration, and ability to learn.
Our citizens and their children deserve a safe, comfortable, and dignified school environment.

Fuel burning faster claim motorists
Again with this? It’s the heat! Don’t you people notice how less frequently you fuel during winter?
@ali_mandi
I agree, I feel the same as fuel consumption is faster than ever, and we pay more than before.
@aleemekkanoo
I actually drive less now and fuel is over in three days? Used to last a week!
@angeldust3373
True ... noticed the same unusual extra consumption.
