Kuwait police have arrested an Iraqi national in the Free Trade Zone after catching him allegedly impersonating a Criminal Investigation Department officer.
A routine patrol spotted a suspicious vehicle in the area and attempted to intercept it before the driver fled on foot.
Officers pursued and apprehended the suspect following a brief chase.
A search of the vehicle uncovered a police vest, handcuffs, and forgery equipment used in the alleged impersonation.
The confiscated gear was seized, and the suspect was referred to the relevant legal authorities for further investigation.
