Tougher laws urged to tackle childhood obesity in Bahrain
There are far too many products with high levels of added sugar, and there seems to be very little control over them. We need stricter regulations on high-added-sugar products, similar to the measures followed in many European countries.

Obesity is environmental. If the parents have unhealthy diets and habits, the children will too. We need education for everyone on how to live a healthier lifestyle, including moving more and eating better, and naturally, children will model that behaviour as well.

Walla, if you all build more playgrounds and activity centres instead of useless malls, it would be a little more ideal. And since its too hot eight to nine months in Bahrain, indoor parks would be delightful.

After the recent incidents, this is a great initiative and I think all schools in Bahrain should implement this.
